The path of rituals

Rituals exist in every culture around the world.

Some are religious.
Others are cultural.
Others are part of our daily lives without us even calling them rituals.

I’m fascinated by the way repeated gestures shape the way we live.

This is where my own journey began.

Rituals and pilgrimages

Some journeys begin with a place.
Others begin with a question.

Here, lived rituals, inner pilgrimages, and experiences come together—experiences that, step by step, transform the way we inhabit our own lives.

Practices of presence

Beyond their different forms, rituals have always served the same purpose: to bring meaning, rhythm, and presence into people's lives.

This library brings together practices, symbols, and gestures from different cultures, eras, and traditions—alongside the simple rituals that continue to exist in modern life today.

How it began for me

Simple. Repetitive. Lived.

9 stops → 9 weeks → the same rhythm → the same intention

It is not about visiting nine churches. It is about creating a space where, step by step, something begins to settle.

Walking becomes a practice. Lighting a candle becomes an act of presence.

And the journey ceases to be merely a tradition, becoming instead an experience that each person can live in their own way.

Nine Stops and a Journey Within

What follows is my journal, exactly as it happened, with the names of the places in the Bucharest I know. I leave it here as a trail of footsteps, not a recipe.

It wasn’t a plan. It was a step. And then another.

I began the Ritual of the Nine Churches on December 28, 2025. It wasn't a clear, rational decision. There was no moment when I said, “This is what I'm going to do.”

It was more like an inner movement—a step taken before my mind understood the direction. A friend had told me about this ritual. But over the past few months, something had changed. “It feels like the level of connection has opened more.”

It was as if this path had become more accessible to those who choose to walk it with humility and an open heart—as though the field itself now supports the process more clearly.

Don’t begin the ritual in confusion

If you feel confused, sometimes it helps to see more clearly what you are carrying.

In such moments, a systemic perspective can bring clarity. What you are working through is not only personal. What you feel is not always entirely yours.

A session can offer you: insight into transgenerational dynamics clarity around your intention a direction for your ritual. It is not mandatory. But it can make the path more conscious.

You might be wondering

What if I don’t feel anything?
You don’t need to feel anything special. The process is not always visible.

What if I can’t keep the rhythm?
The ritual is not about perfection. It is about returning.

What if I don’t know where to go?
Any place can become part of the ritual, if it is chosen with intention.

Do they have to be 9 churches?

Nu. Poate fi orice loc care are sens pentru tine — biserici, alte spații sacre sau pur și simplu locuri alese cu intenție.
What matters is not the place, but the rhythm, the continuity, and the presence with which you walk.

Maybe it’s not the moment. Or maybe it is.

You don’t have to be sure. You don’t need all the answers.

One step is enough. It is enough to begin.
