The Ritual of the 9
Walking ritual. The path does not begin far away. It begins exactly where you are.
The Ritual of the 9
One step.
Then another.
And before you realize it, life begins to settle.
Not because you forced anything.
But because you started walking.
The walking ritual is an invitation.
Not to arrive somewhere.
But to meet yourself, step by step.
The Ritual of the 9 — what is it?
It is not about religion.
It is not about performance.
It is not about doing it “right.”
The ritual does not change your life. It changes the way you are within it.
A space where you: slow down → listen → observe → allow things to settle.
Walking becomes a practice. Repetition becomes a process. And simple gestures become ritual.
You don’t need experience.. You only need willingness.
Why does it work?
Sometimes, what we live did not begin with us.
We carry stories, loyalties, emotions, and dynamics that are not entirely ours, yet they express themselves through our lives.
In systemic constellations, we often see this: what has not been seen, acknowledged, or placed within a system… continues to move.
The ritual creates a different kind of space. A space where you: do not analyze → do not explain → do not force
Instead, allow. And sometimes, that alone is enough for something to begin to settle.
Lighting a candle – a simple gesture, a deeper meaning
Lighting a candle is one of the oldest ritual gestures.
In many traditions, light symbolizes: presence → prayer → connection to something greater than ourselves.
For some, it is a religious act. For others, a symbol. For others, simply a moment of stillness.
It’s not about doing it “the right way.” It’s about the intention you bring to it.
You can light a candle: in a sacred place → in a church → or simply at home.
It can be for someone. For yourself. For a question. Or with no clear reason at all.
Sometimes, small gestures create the space where bigger things can begin to settle.
The Ritual of the 9 — the structure
Simple. Clear. Repetitive.
9 stops → 9 consecutive weeks → on the same day → with the same intention
It is not about feeling something special. It is not about achieving a result. It is about staying. Week after week.
From direct experience, transformation does not come from intensity. It comes from continuity.
If you feel you want to begin, but don’t know exactly how — you can start simply, with the first steps.
Conscious walking – when each step becomes a practice
Walking is not just movement. It becomes a form of presence. In this ritual, it’s not about how fast you get there. It’s about how you walk.
When you walk consciously: the breath settles → thoughts begin to quiet → the body starts to speak in a different way
It is one of the simplest ways to return to yourself. Beyond the inner dimension, walking also has a direct impact on the body.
A steady rhythm, even around 10,000–15,000 steps a day, is associated with: more energy → a more stable emotional state → reduced stress → mental clarity.
But this is not about performance. You don’t count the steps. You feel them. Because sometimes, it is exactly this repeated walking that begins to settle things within you.
At the beginning of the path
I want to share with you a part of this journey. Not as a “finished” story, but as a testimony of the path.
It is my own experience — with steps, questions, quiet moments, and small signs.
If, while reading, something in you moves, becomes clearer, or finds the courage to begin… then this text has found its place.
This is not a guide. It is not a pathern to follow.
It is simply a personal experience.
Take from it only what feels right for you. Each person has their own rhythm, their own stops, their own path.

How it began for me
It wasn’t a plan. It was a step. And then another.
I began the Ritual of the 9 Churches on December 28, 2025.
It wasn’t a clear, rational decision.
There wasn’t a moment where I said, “This is what I’m doing.”
It was more of an inner movement.
A step taken before the mind understood the direction.
A friend had told me about this ritual.
But in the past months, something shifted.
“It feels like the level of connection has opened more.”
As if this path has become more accessible to those who choose to walk it with humility and an open heart.
As if the field itself is more clearly supporting this process.
Cicle sustaining the Ritual
Sometimes, the path feels easier when you know you’re not walking alone.
The Ritual of the 9 is personal. But it doesn’t have to be solitary.
The Circle sustaining the Ritual is a space of support where you: receive daily reflection messages → have questions that help you stay in the process → can share or listen to others’ experiences → join weekly Zoom meetings
It is not about exposure. It is about knowing you are not alone.
Don’t begin the ritual in confusion
If you feel confused, sometimes it helps to see more clearly what you are carrying.
In such moments, a systemic perspective can bring clarity. What you are working through is not only personal. What you feel is not always entirely yours.
A session can offer you: insight into transgenerational dynamics → clarity around your intention → a direction for your ritual. It is not mandatory. But it can make the path more conscious.

You might be wondering
What if I don’t feel anything?
You don’t need to feel anything special. The process is not always visible.
What if I can’t keep the rhythm?
The ritual is not about perfection. It is about returning.
What if I don’t know where to go?
Any place can become part of the ritual, if it is chosen with intention.
Do they have to be 9 churches?
No. It can be any place that holds meaning for you churches, other sacred spaces, or simply places chosen with intention.
What matters is not the place, but the rhythm, the continuity, and the presence with which you walk.
Maybe it’s not the moment. Or maybe it is.
You don’t have to be sure. You don’t need all the answers.
One step is enough. It is enough to begin.
