People walked in processions toward the ritual space, and the journey itself was part of the experience, not merely a way of arriving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In ancient Greece, sacred processions led to temples dedicated to gods and goddesses.<br>In Japan, the <a href=\"https:\/\/iuliavs.ro\/en\/shikoku-pilgrimage-ritualul-celor-88-temple\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"880\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-woostify-primary-color\">Shikoku<\/mark><\/a> pilgrimage still involves walking to 88 temples.<br>The Camino de Santiago is traveled by hundreds of thousands of people each year, not only for religious reasons, but also in search of peace, meaning, or inner realignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the Australian Aboriginal routes known as \u201csonglines\u201d to medieval European pilgrimages, walking appears across very different cultures as a practice of orientation, seeking, and connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The anthropologist Victor Turner described pilgrimage as a \u201climinal space\u201d \u2014 a period in which a person steps out of the ordinary rhythm of life and enters a different state of presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps that is why walking changes so much within us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the rhythm of the body begins to change,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the mind starts to quiet,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and some answers appear without being forced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps walking rituals were never really about the destination.\n\nBut about who you become between the first step and the last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 Have you ever taken a journey that meant more than simply arriving somewhere?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 What do you notice within yourself after walking for a longer time in silence, without hurry and without an urgent destination?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 If your life were a path right now, at what stage of the journey do you feel you are?<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mersul &#8211; unul dintre cele mai vechi ritualuri ale omenirii Nu mersul ca deplasare, ci ca transformare.
